WHAT IS GHEE?
Organic Ghee is a clarified butter of superb taste, great for cooking. It is an essential part of a balanced diet and an excellent substitute to use instead of regular cooking oil.
The final product is made at a local farm in the Cotswold Hills of South West of England by cooking milk of grass fed pastured cows slowly for 6 to 8 hours to rid it of any impurities, lactose, water and milk solids. There are no added flavourings or colourings.
The product is dairy free. As mentioned, milk proteins and solids are removed through the ghee clarification process.
After being opened, it can last for months or even years. It does not need to be refrigerated.
